DHOOM 3

 

            Revenge is something that can make a person do anything. A revengeful person can go to an extreme level to take his revenge and never thinks whether the act of his is right or wrong. If his decision is correct or incorrect. Its just a passion and a passionate person never thinks of the end result. He just thinks that he is doing the rigorous act.

 

            Vijay Krishna Acharya’s 3^rd version of Dhoom series is about a person Sahir (Aamir Khan). Sahir wants to take revenge from Western Bank Of Chicago. Due to non-payment of debts the bank shut Sahir father’s (Jackie Shroff) ‘The Great Indian Circus’ which caused the death of his father. At that very moment young Sahir decided to take revenge from the bank by destroying it and creating a situation to shut it down. Now the only goal in his life is to take revenge from the bank. This is the time when the game of chase between police and thief begins. Inspector Jai Dikshit (Abhishek Bachchan ofcourse!) follows Sahir like anything. But Sahir is also a very canning and smart thief who can’t be catched so easily as he has a trump card naming Samar. Samar is the suspense of the movie and of Sahir as well. But Jai who is a Super Cop cracks the suspense and catches Sahir!

           

            Vijay Krishna Acharya has written the story of Dhoom and has also written the Screenplay of Dhoom 2, but this time he has taken Director’s seat for Dhoom 3. Alas! He was unable to create the magic of previous Dhoom films. In the first half Aamir was seen running only and the cops keep him chasing, first half was a dud. Second half was gripping but till then it was too late for the viewer. The thing which was omitted in this part of Dhoom is the live burglary which we saw in previous parts. The stunts were also not so impressive. Bad timing of songs, dull story and Pritam’s weak tracks make the movie even more boring. 7 years is a very long gap for viewers to wait. There is nothing so influencing in Dhoom 3 to make it go ‘Dhoom’ again. There was a hope that Aamir will go one step ahead of what Rithik done in the previous version. But Aamir was not even been able to touch Rithik’s benchmark. DoP Sudeep Bhattacharya’s camera work is commendable. The BMW bike which Aamir rode in the movie is a thing one should watch out for.

           

            There is Aamir and only Aamir in the entire movie. Katrina naturally played her part of a glam doll. Playing the role of cops Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra did nothing new. Jackie Shroff done a cameo of Aamir’s father. I don’t know how Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan nodded his approval for the movie.

 

            While watching a movie if I yawn even once I get to know that the movie is a big bore. When I watched Dhoom and Dhoom 2 I was glued to my seat, on the other hand when I was watching Dhoom 3 I yawned two times. If you are a big fan of Aamir Khan then this latest version of Dhoom series is only for you or else watch the older ones on Max!

धूम 3

 

धूम 3: बदला..बदला इंसान से कुछ भी करा सकता है..बदला लेने के लिए इंसान कुछ भी कर सकता है..किसी भी हद तक जा सकता है..बदला लेते वक़्त वो ये तक नहीं सोचता कि वो सही कर रहा है या ग़लत..ये बस एक जुनून होता है जो सर पर सवार हो जाए तो बंदा कुछ भी कर गुज़रता है। क्यूँकि बदले की आग होती ही क़ातिल है।

 

      विजय कृष्ण आचार्य की धूम 3 भी बदले की आग में जलने वाले एक शख़्स- साहिर (आमिर ख़ान) की कहानी है। लोन ना चुका पाने के कारण बैंक उसके बाबा (जैकी श्रॉफ़) का ‘दि ग्रेट इंडियन सर्कस’ बंद कर देता है जो साहिर के बाबा की मौत का कारण बनती है और साहिर के बदले की वजह भी। फिर साहिर बैंक को बर्बाद करके उसे बंद करने की ठान लेता है। बैंक बंद कराना उसकी ज़िंदगी का एक अकेला मक़्सद बन जाता है। फिर शुरू होता है चोर और पुलिस का खेल और इस खेल में इंस्पेक्टर जय दीक्षित (अभिषेक बच्चन) साहिर के पीछे हाथ धो कर पड़ जाता है।  मगर साहिर भी मंझा हुआ खिलाड़ी है क्यूँकि उसके पास एक तुरुप का इक्का है समर। समर ही फ़िल्म का और साहिर का सबसे बड़ा राज़ है, और इसी वजह से जय साहिर को पकड़ने में नाकाम भी होता है। पर जय तो इंडिया का सुपर कॉप है तो वो आख़िरकार साहिर का ये राज़ जान जाता है और उसको पकड़ भी लेता है।

 

      विजय कृष्ण आचार्य ने धूम की कहानी लिखी थी और धूम 2 का स्क्रीनप्ले लिखा था। धूम 3 में कहानी के साथ निर्देशन भी उनका ही है मगर वो धूम सीरीज की पिछली फ़िल्मों की तरह इस फ़िल्म में धूम नहीं मचा पाए। फर्स्ट हाफ़ में तो आमिर सिर्फ भागते हुए ही नज़र आए। इन्टरवल के बाद फ़िल्म थोड़ी ठीक हुई मगर तब तक काफ़ी देर हो चुकी थी। जो बात सबसे ज़्यादा खली वो ये कि फ़िल्म में एक भी चोरी नहीं दिखाई गई जैसा कि दर्शक उम्मीद कर रहे थे। आमिर सिर्फ चोरी करने के बाद भागते हुए ही नज़र आए। फ़िल्म में कुछ ख़ास स्टंट सीन भी नहीं दिखे। गानों की बेकार टाइमिंग, बेदम कहानी और प्रीतम का कमज़ोर संगीत फ़िल्म को और बोरिंग बनाते हैं। 7 साल के लंबे इंतज़ार के बाद आई धूम 3 में धूम मचाने जैसा कुछ भी नहीं था। उम्मीद थी कि आमिर पिछले चोर रितिक से एक कदम आगे जाएंगे पर आमिर रितिक को छू भी नहीं पाए। फ़िल्म में सुदीप भट्टाचार्य का कैमरा शानदार है। बीएमडबल्यू की बाइक जो आमिर ने चलाई है वो फ़िल्म में आकर्षण का केंद्र है।

     

      फ़िल्म में आमिर ही छाए हुए हैं। कटरीना ने फ़िल्म में ग्लैमर का तड़का लगाया है। पुलिस के रोल में अभिषेक बच्चन और उदय चोपड़ा ने कुछ नया नहीं किया है। मिस्टर पर्फ़ेक्शनिस्ट कहे जाने वाले आमिर ख़ान ने कैसे फ़िल्म के लिए हाँ कह दी पता नहीं।

     

      फ़िल्म देखते हुए अगर मुझे जम्हाई आ जाए तो समझ आ जाता है कि फ़िल्म बोरिंग है। धूम और धूम 2 देखते वक़्त मैं सीट से बिना हिले फ़िल्म देखता रहा वहीं धूम 3 देखते हुए मुझे दो बार जम्हाई आई। अगर आप आमिर के बहुत बड़े फैन है तो फ़िल्म आपके लिए ही बनी है वर्ना मैक्स पर धूम की पुरानी फ़िल्में देख लें!
